Fine Motor Hedgehog

A great fine motor toy that helps with Cali’s pincer grasp. We have been working on various grips, color recognition, sorting, and counting skills, and this toy does it all! The toy has a pamphlet full of games that will allow you to engage in multiple ways.

Childom Musical Instruments Set

My daughter loves music and this instrument set has been a fave of hers for months. This set introduced her to the xylophone and it’s her go-to instrument, especially the mallets that work as a teething toy. I really like how many different types of instruments you can find in this set that come with a bag to keep them all organized.

“Music can encourage socialization, self-expression, communication, and motor development. Because the brain processes music in both hemispheres, music can stimulate cognitive functioning and may be used for remediation of some speech/language skills” American Music Therapy Association, Inc.

Music is an outlet for Cali and that is why I love this set and introducing colorful musical toys at a young age.

Wooden Shape Puzzles

At this age, we have been introducing colors and shapes and this simple toy does just that.I know you will find so many versions of this shape puzzle. When playing with this puzzle we state the colors, shapes, and sign them all. Cali is at the point where she now places them back on the board. This is great cognitively, for hand-eye coordination, and more.

Piano Mat, Musical Keyboard Playmat

We are back with another musical toy!! This one plays music, animal sounds, and numbers. My daughter is not yet walking so we play while she’s sitting, we hang it from her crib to get her to reach and work on her range of motion. This musical serves as an educational toy which we love in our house.

Step2 Lazy Maze River Run Water Table

My daughter loves the water and this table has been perfect for developing her motor skills, problem-solving, cause and effect by pouring the water over the spinners and it’s just fun. The height has been ideal to encourage my daughter to stand and play. It will keep your little one busy for a while with all their different attachments.

  • BENEFITS OF WATER PLAY- Water Play gives many opportunities to develop fine and gross motor skills across age ranges. Children will increase their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through actions like pouring, squirting, scrubbing, stirring, and squeezing. -Kid’s Club Early Childhood Learning Center

Piano Keyboard Xylophone Drum Set

This drum set is the next step up from our previous instrumental toys, it combines the xylophone, drums, and piano in one! Your kid can jam out or they can switch it to a level that incorporates animals, numbers, and colors. It’s always great to mix music and education together. This also has an advanced level that incorporates some eye-hand coordination with a light-up game on the drum portion.

Aqua Socks

My baby is a true water girl and when the summer hits we like to go to all the local beach parks. i realized to get her to walk in the sand and sometimes on the rocky beaches she needed water shoes. These aqua socks are lightweight beach shoes, great stretch and the fit prevents chafing.

This tray is for your laptop when you are in bed, but we use it for my daughter when she is playing on the floor and even set her toddler chair up next to it. It’s a way to use everyday items you have in your house and make them accessible items for your child.

VAENAIT BABY Bamboo Cool Summer Pajamas Set

Pajamas are a staple in Cali’s wardrobe and this has been a top brand lately. The bamboo fiber is good for sensitive skin which my little ones have, and it feels so soft which helps get a good night's rest. It is also, made of breathable fabric which has a cooling effect that is great for little ones that run warm. They have fun patterns like this tye-dye look and a good stretch to give your child room to grow in them.

GAMING FLOOR CHAIR

This chair is actually for gaming but we got it for myself and our nurses to be on the floor and hang with Cali while she is playing. The extra back support saves our backs and the three adjustable back allows you to get into 14 different positions. It’s pretty comfy and easy to slide under the bed or in the corner. Although we purchased it for us, it was quickly taken over by Cali and now we use the tray from above to give her a place to play with back support. She loves it!
