CHRISTMAS SENSORY LIGHT BOX

SUPPLIES YOU NEED

1. A large box. After all the Christmas shopping on Amazon, I saved this box and repurposed it for Cali’s sensory lightbox.

2. Construction Paper - I got 10 sheets for $1 at the Dollar Tree.

3. 3 sets of lights, for $1 each. They only have 20 lights on each string, and I also bought these from the Dollar Tree.

4. Christmas Wrapping Paper, $1 from the Dollar Tree.

5.ColorED Pens, Tape, Scissors, and a Box Cutter.

6. I had THE snowflake from a package of five from Hobby Lobby, but you can cut them yourself out of construction paper.

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP:1 Cut and create your snowmen and Christmas trees using your construction paper.

STEP 2: Use the box cutter and create small holes on the outside of the box. Open the box of lights, string them on the outside of the box to measure the distance of where the box's holes should be.

STEP 3: Push the lights through the holes you’ve created.

STEP 4: Take the wrapping paper and wrap it on the outside of the box. Leaving the back open, so you can have easy access to plug the lights into an outlet.

STEP 5: Decorate the inside of the box with your snowmen and Christmas tree. You can get creative and make stars, snow, a full winter wonderland! You can use cotton balls for snow or even the snowmen.

Now sit back and let your child stare in admiration. We put Christmas music on and let Cali lay in the box. We also sit her up and let her become mesmerized by the lights and colors.
